Trimble Certified Training:
Trimble Navigation Limited has offered their Surveying and Mapping customers access to 'Certified Trainers' since 1994. As one of the very few trainers certified for all Mapping (1995), Post Processed (Land Survey - 1997) and Real Time Surveying (RTK - 1998) products, I'm in a unique position to offer my clients the widest range of Trimble Certified training solutions.

My survey background is extensive, beginning in 1974 and including a 12-year career as a field officer with The Geodetic Survey of Canada. I have field experience in GPS, Doppler and Inertial surveys as well as conventional instruments and software including total stations and data collectors. I first used GPS in 1986, began using Trimble GPS in 1990 and have been instructing GPS full time since 1994. Trimble Navigation is a major client, contracting my services to deliver factory courses to customers and staff alike as well as to train new Certified trainers. I have also presented Survey and Mapping workshops at Trimbles Users Conferences.
My survey background, teaching experience and passion for surveying has resulted in an easy-going, non-technical teaching style which puts students at ease while communicating effectively. My multi-discipline field experience easily translates into practical, real world applications of the latest surveying and mapping technologies. A comfortable learning environment means quicker learning, faster productivity.
