The end of 2001 saw the beginning of a new club that is quickly becoming a hot bed of music on the Springfield scene, The Springfield Music Hall. Under new ownership, co-managers of The Springfield Music Hall John and Ralph have made a devoted effort to some great music acts including a strong support of local, original music.

Hague hotelsThe Springfield Music Hall is a proud sponsor and host of the 2002 Battle Of The Bands. Every Wednesday, March 27th - May 16th the Springfield Music Hall hosts the preliminary competition for a total of 8 weeks. The bands will be scored by a panel of judges and the winner will be determined each night. This 18+ event is co-sponsored by Sam Adams, Lazer 99.3, Music Men, and of course, TheMusicSeen.com!

Stuttgart cheap hotelsAt the end of 8 weeks the remaining bands compete in two Semi-Finals competitions (May 15th & 22nd). Only 2 bands will be chosen from each semi-finals. Finals for the Top 4 Bands will be held at the Hippodrome on Wednesday June 5, 2002, doors open at 9:00 pm and this is a 18+ show.

From day one, The Music Hall has hosted a great deal of talent from nationals like Corey Glover of Living Color, to regional greats like Gargantua Soul and plenty of local giants!
