Changes to License RenewalProcessing

It is very important that you submit your renewal forms andfees before your licenses expire. Please take intoaccount that the Board, on average, may take up to 7 days to process therenewals, print new licenses andmail out renewal licenses provided all of your renewal forms and insurancecertificates are complete. Here are some instances that may delay the renewal process.

Renewal form(s) not signed.
Not answering whether you have been arrested for other than a Class C Misdemeanor traffic violation in the past 12 months.
Changing your insurance expiration date may cause your renewal fees to change.
Changing the business license holder.
Changing the name of the business.
If you have defaulted on Texas Guaranteed Student Loan.
If the company is incorporated, not listing a charter number.

If the company is incorporated, not complying with the Texas Corporate Franchise Tax Act.
Failure to submit proof of Continuing Education Unites (CEU's) Certificates if requested on the renewal form.
Failure to provide proof of current insurance coverage on the Board prescribed form.
A Lapse in insurance coverage.
If renewal is returned to you for any reason it may result in assessing a late fee. Renewal must be received in our office completed with the proper fee by due date in order to avoid additional late fees.

The sixty-day late period after your license expires isnot permission for a licensee to continue practicing pest control. If the business has not supplied the Board with the proper renewal forms,fees and insurance and the Board has not had sufficient time to process, print,and mail out the renewal licenses then you are not licensed, and anywork performed after the license expiration date is in violation of the law.

ITIS IMPORTANT THAT EVERYONE BEGIN PREPARATION EARLY IN ORDER TO MEET YOURLICENSE RENEWAL REQUIREMENTS.
