BOARD STAFF PRESENT: DaleBurnett, Executive Director; Van Brock, Structural Pest Control BoardInvestigator, Joe Fletcher, Structural Pest Control Board Investigator; MikeBuchanan, Structural Pest Control Board Investigator. Structural Pest Control Board Chairman, Dr. Jay Stoneconvenes the Board meeting at 1:00 p.m. Mr. Chairman calls for motion to elect Van Brock forrecording secretary for the meeting. Dr.Roger Gold moves to elect Van Brock for recording secretary. Les Hoyt seconds the motion. Motioncarried. Agenda Item I. Approvalof Board Minutes of August 16, 2001. Mr. Chairman calls for motion to approve the Minutes. Dr. Roger Gold moves to approve the minutes. Les Hoyt seconds the motion. Motioncarried. Agenda Item II. PublicComment and Public Hearing on the following Section: 593.7 Fees. Mr. Chairman opens meeting to public comment and publichearing. No commentswere received. Agenda Item III. Consider for Adoption Section 593.7 Fees. Les Hoyt moves to adopt Section 593.7. Elias Briseno seconds the motion. Motion carried. Executive Director, Dale Burnett states the Agency willreport back to the Board no later than six months from now, or two boardmeetings from now, on the projection of how this fee increase is impacting ourfee gathering and the budget. Thatwill allow the Board to make adjustments because we have cut it to a percent,more or less, so we will report back to you, and then you can contemplatechanges. Section 593.7 becomeseffective October 8, 2001. Mr. Chairman calls for motion to adjourn. Les Hoyt moves to adjourn the special meeting of the Structural PestControl Board of September 17, 2001. EliasBriseno seconds the motion. Motioncarried.
