Over the past years the organization has proven to be a strong, vibranthockey club committed and dedicated to the players and to the successfulness ofthe club. The club provides two divisions which include both Bantam andMidget.
Since 1997 the Polar KingsAthletic Hockey Club has been based out of the Wainwright Alberta where theystill provide the opportunity for rural Alberta hockey players to play atthis level. The Bantam team plays in the CentralAlberta Bantam Hockey League while the Midgets play in the RuralAlberta Major Midget Hockey League.
The Polar Kings Athletic Hockey Club season begins with their annualConditioning Camp in the Peewee, Bantam and Midget divisions. Team tryouts for the Bantam and Midgetlevels teams will begin Septemberthe 18th, 2000 and will run through till October 1, 2000. The tryouts include Fall Evaluation Tournamentswith teams from Alberta and B.C. participating. The Bantam tournament will be held September 29,30 and October 1,2000 and the Midget Tournament September 22, 23 & 24,2000.
The 2000-2001 Midget team begins their 36 regular season game schedule Septemberthe 30th, 2000, while the Bantam team begins their 24 regular season game schedulesOctober 3, 2000.
