The Spot is a hybrid club with dancing every Friday and live music (modern rock bands), every Saturday...the best of both worlds. The Spot is priced like the local bar it is, but still manages to feature the best local cover bands and regional acts.

The Spot has 2 big screen TVs (7 TVs total), featuring all the sports games, and 3 pool tables. A big dance floor, a great quality sound and light show, and NO cover on dance nights.

Since its opening in mid-December, The Spothotel rooms Rothenburg has become a major contender in Chicopee's nightlife scene. According to owner Rich DeMattia, "The Spothoteles en Basilea is really the only true club in Chicopee." Intended to be a replica of DeMattia's highly successful Springfield club, Breakers, The Spot plays host to rock cover bands every Saturday night. Orange Crush, an REM cover band, and Aqua Net, an 80's hair band, are two of the club's more popular acts. As he is with Breakers, DeMattia is painstakingly particular when it comes to selecting The Spot's entertainment.

Why was The SpotPlovdiv accommodation booking voted Best Bar in the Valley Advocate Reader's Poll for Cheap Drinks? DeMattia says that he wanted to cater to the area's blue-collar residents and, as a result, has kept drink prices to a minimum. Adding to the club's uniqueness is the range of cigars it sells. The Spot's custom-made Spot Stogie is a favorite among club regulars. On Fridays, club-goers are treated to techno and top 40 dance music, and pool tables are always available for the more tame.
