Trekking with Us
Safety & Security
Our staffs are professional and are dedicated to personalized customer service. Every trekking group has experienced drivers and specialized equipment such as GPS, so you will never be lost.   Furthermore, all our treks have either licensed doctors or otherwise medically trained and qualified staff.
What are the trips like?
Travel in Mongolia is exciting and you will enjoy spectacular scenery. If you are coming to trek, or intend to travel through the countryside, you should have a certain level of fitness. You may encounter rough roads, high altitude and basic accommodation. During these trips, the stream is a bath while the toilet is a discreet rock or bush!

What about the difficulty level?
The level of difficulty of our treks ranges between easy to demanding. We usually hike no more than 15-20 km (9-12 miles) a day and less in mountainous areas. Treks are always camping trips.

What standard of service do we provide?
All our treks are fully supported. This means that your luggage is carried either by horses or camels; we put up and take down your tents, and food is prepared and cooked for you. All you need to carry is a small rucksack.

How many members make up a group and who'll look after me during the trip?
In order to ensure the utmost in personal service and quality, we limit our treks to a maximum of 14 people. During the trek knowledgeable and sympathetic guides  will look after you with our local auxiliary staff. For most treks we arrange for an English-speaking guide to be with you from your arrival in Mongolia until your departure. German, Japanese, French, and Korean speaking guides are also available on request.

Can you arrange private itineraries? How long is a typical tour?
Half of the trips we organize involve tailor-made itineraries for private small groups. An average trip lasts 2-3 weeks. We would be happy to organize a custom made trip for a group of 3 or more people.

What should I pack?
Trekking equipment and medical supplies are not readily available in Mongolia. Please buy them before leaving; we will send you with a complete kit list after you book with us. (Back to TOP)
