 | Adding KADC Technologies to Your Products In addition to creating and adapting technologies for Kodak products, Kodak's Austin Development Center also licenses its technology to other original equipment manufacturers for use in their products. At present, Kodak's ADC is working with scanner and minilab manufacturers such as Nikon, Minolta, Noritsu, Epson, Microtek, and many others, to add its technologies to selected models. The process is surprisingly fast and straightforward, offering breakthrough product benefits without the time commitment and headaches often seen in new product development. Our staff is with you every step of the way to speed your new scanner to market as quickly as possible. | |

The Process for Adding Kodak's ADC Technologies | Step One: | Feasibility Study - Our engineers perform an analysis to determine if your product is a good candidate for selected technologies. | | Step Two: | Implementation Plan - We determine needed hardware and software changes and provide your design engineers with precise specifications. | | Step Three: | Hardware and Software Development - While your engineers modify the hardware (DIGITAL ICE Technology only), our engineers customize the selected ADC technologies to your equipment. | | Step Four: | Testing - We install the customized software in your modified product and thoroughly tests and debugs the code to produce a reliable, integrated solution. Testing is done collaboratively and in parallel by ADC and your engineers, with constant feedback to prevent delays. | | Step Five: | Delivery - Once both you and Kodak's ADC have completed code reviews and ADC has delivered the required software, you are ready to release to manufacturing. | | Step Six: | Product Launch and Support Marketing - Because our success depends on the success of your product, we work with your marketing staff to be sure your product makes waves when it hits the market. | |
| We Help Create Demand For Your Products We routinely meet with industry analysts and members of the press in Japan, Taiwan, the United States and Europe, and we attend every major digital event or conference to present papers and talk to interest groups.
